Hello Dental Code of Conduct
At Hello Dental, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. To ensure the highest standard of care and mutual respect, we have established the following Code of Conduct, which applies to all interactions within our practice.
1. Respectful Communication
- All patients, staff, and dentists are expected to communicate with kindness and professionalism.
- Disrespectful, abusive, or threatening language or behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Punctuality and Scheduling
- Patients are expected to arrive on time for appointments or provide adequate notice (at least 24 hours) if they need to cancel or reschedule.
- Repeated missed appointments without proper notice may result in a review of the patient’s status with the practice.
3. **Compliance with Treatment Plans
- Patients are encouraged to follow the recommended treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Non-compliance with treatment, including refusal to follow dentist recommendations or repeatedly ignoring instructions, may impact the patient’s continued care at Hello Dental.
4. Safety and Behavior
- Behavior that compromises the safety and well-being of staff or other patients will not be accepted.
- Acts of aggression, harassment, or any form of discrimination are strictly prohibited.
5. Financial Responsibility
- Patients are expected to understand and meet their financial obligations, including making payments for treatments as agreed upon.
- Failure to address outstanding balances may lead to limitations on future services until resolved.
6. Confidentiality and Privacy
- Both patients and staff are required to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others at all times.
Termination of Patient Relationship
A patient's relationship with Hello Dental may be terminated if they fail to adhere to the Code of Conduct. Reasons for dismissal include, but are not limited to:
1. Disrespect or Abuse: Disrespectful, aggressive, or abusive behavior towards the dentist, staff, or other patients.
2. Repeated Non-Compliance: Failure to follow treatment plans or ignoring health recommendations.
3. Missed Appointments: Repeated failure to attend appointments without providing proper notice.
4. Financial Non-Compliance: Unresolved outstanding balances or refusal to adhere to payment agreements.
5. Endangering Safety: Behavior that creates a hostile or unsafe environment for staff or patients.
Before termination, patients will be given notice of the decision, and all immediate dental needs will be addressed. Referrals to other providers MAY be offered as appropriate to ensure continuity of care.
